No hay traducciones disponibles A catamaran is a type of multi-hulled boat, generally consisting of two to three hulls, also called vakas, joined by some structure. The most basic type of catamaran is simply a frame, formed by two hulls. Catamarans can either be a sailboat or an engine-powered boat. Catamarans were used by the ancient Tamils as early as the 5th century AD for moving their fleets to invade such Southeast Asian regions as Burma, Indonesia and Malaysia.
