Caving, also known as spelunking is the activity of exploring natural cave formations. People often undertake the caving for the enjoyment of the activity as well as for exploration. Exploring is often done for Physical or biological scientific study of the cave and is also an important goal for some cavers. Caves that have not yet been explored are termed as Virgin cave systems and form some of the last unexplored regions on Earth and people put much effort in attempt to locate and enter into these caves.
