Born in Santo Domingo, in 1813, Juan Pablo Duarte who was the Father of the Nation. Son of Ten Manuela (The Dominican Seybo) and Juan Jose Duarte (Spanish natural Catalonia). Few days after he was baptized in the parish church of Santa Barbara. In the house where he was born, now runs the Museum of Duarte. The Trinitaria founded in 1838, society embryo of Independence, which was consummated on February 27, 1844. Juan Pablo Duarte was born January 26, 1813 in colonial Santo Domingo and died in exile Venezuela on July 17, 1876.
